The right size for a family function
Charminar Hall
Most family functions in Madurai are not two hundred and fifty people. They are seventy-five to a hundred — the relatives who will actually come, plus close friends. Charminar is the hall built for that number, and booking it means you are not paying for a room that will look half empty.
About the hall
What Charminar is actually like
Scale changes how a function feels. In a hundred-guest room the host can get to every table, the noise stays at a level where people can talk across one, and the food service is done in one pass rather than three. That is why naming ceremonies, sixtieth-birthday lunches, house-warmings and small wedding receptions tend to land here rather than in a bigger hall with the chairs pulled in.
The room is fully air-conditioned and carries the same audio-visual setup as the larger halls — mics for the ceremony, a screen if you want photographs running through the afternoon. Parking is the same valet service the rest of the venue uses, which matters more at a daytime family function than people expect, because everyone arrives inside the same twenty minutes.
Catering runs from the same kitchen as every other hall. A hundred-plate South Indian lunch, a mixed menu for an evening reception, or a sit-down meal with a couple of live counters — the menu is built with you rather than picked off a fixed list.
